Primary PE support is our specialism. We are physical education specialists with over 35 years of experience, and with a passion for the delivery of high quality PE in primary schools. Using the PE national curriculum, afPE (Association for Physical Education) health and safety guidance, and our own extended knowledge, our aim is to support teachers in achieving outstanding in their delivery of PE lessons, from reception through to Year 6.
We also offer support in the development of strategic direction for example development planning, policy writing, health and safety guidance and assessment procedures.

What is on offer?
PE CPD
To develop teacher confidence, knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm on lesson delivery and what is necessary to engage all pupils to achieve outstanding from Ofsted. Schemes of work and lesson plans will be accessed through this support. Read more about our teacher training options.
PE planning and policy updates
Support the development and writing of PE plans from policy writing, development plans, curriculum mapping to schemes of work and lesson plans.
Health and safety guidance
Advice and guidance on issues related to health and safety in PE.
Assessment
Support in the development of PE assessment linked to teacher observation and understanding of what is being assessed and why.
Teacher training
Reception
Focus on physical literacy and the fundamental movement skills of locomotion object control and stability whilst focusing on the Early learning Goals.
Key Stage 1 (KS1)
Continue to focus on physical literacy and the fundamental movement skills of locomotion, object control and stability through various mediums e.g. gymnastics, dance, games, athletics, and as identified by the school.
Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4)
Continue to develop physical literacy and the fundamental movement skills of locomotion, object control and stability through various mediums e.g. gymnastics, dance, games, athletics, and as identified by the school. Modified games will be introduced where appropriate.
Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6)
Continue to develop physical literacy and the fundamental movement skills of locomotion, object control and stability through various mediums e.g. gymnastics, dance, games, athletics, as identified by the school. Modified games will be introduced.
How will this be offered?
Training is bespoke to schools and can be taken up as follows:
Whole School INSET
Whole school training that can be delivered during the day or as a twilight session.
Schools may also wish to join together.
1:1 teacher support in lessons

Phys’ kids playground leaders and pals training
Do your playtimes need positive social development?
Do your pupils need to be taught how to play positively together?
Would your pupils benefit from improved lunchtime organisation that will enable them to settle in quickly to afternoon learning?
If so you need Phys’ Kids training!
Phys’ Kids Playground leaders and Pals is a training programme for Midday assistants to understand
how to manage the playground in order for children to enjoy lunchtime and move into afternoon learning having had fun.
A happy lunchtime leads to improved afternoon learning.
Training also includes young leaders training to develop a more organised playtime, and to engage all children in positive play.
Coaches are available for after school clubs
